Police do not discount the possibility of taking action against PAS deputy president Mohamad Sabu for making a false claim that a police vehicle had hit the motorcycle he was riding.
Federal Public Order and Internal Security Department director Salleh Rashid, said today there was no truth to the claim of a police Land Rover hitting Mohamad's motorcycle.
"In fact, CCTV recordings show him falling after his vehicle hit a divider and he fell on a pavement," Salleh said.
The video shows a Land Rover chasing two motorcycles, one on which Mat Sabu was riding pillion.
It only shows the motorcyclist and pillion rider falling down on a pavement. There were two other Proton Waja police cars at the back of the four-wheel drive vehicle.
