Dramatic security camera footage has emerged from China of a woman being dragged off a motor scooter when a man in a minibus tries unsuccessfully to snatch her handbag.

The footage, captured on CCTV in Hunan Province on Saturday, shows the woman cling on tightly to the bag, even as she falls to the ground.

The woman suffered only minor injuries, according to local media.
