A bizarre video has emerged from China of a cockroach giving birth to 25 babies inside a man's ear.

The video, captured in this week in Dongguan, shows cockroaches lying in the man's ear canal and being taken out by surgeons.

According to local reports, the man's ear canal was damaged by the creatures.

How a cockroach got into his ear in the first place remains a mystery.
