Mumbai: Residents of Dahisar have been complaining against cement plants but no action has been taken yet. People are forced to live with thick layers of cement dust generated by ready mix concrete (RMC) plants. This affect the health of people living in the vicinity and cause public nuisance. According to residents, even after repeated complaints and stern agitations against the factories, the MPCB has failed to shut down the plants.
