Well known music director Aadesh Srivastava battled with cancer and died at a very young age of 51 on September 5 , 2015. Bollywood was shocked at the manner in which cancer ate into Aadesh’s life and caused havoc in his wife Vijeta Pandit’s life.

She was obviously inconsolable during his prayer meet at Iskon and words could not comfort the brave lady who took care of her husband in the last 45 days that he battled with the dreaded disease. Aadesh has given memorable music to many big hits like Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gam and Baghban, and rocketed to fame with his Gur Nal Ishq Mita song.

Big B was at his funeral and entire BOllywood stood by the veteran director genuinely missing his presence with their hearts going out to Vijeta the bereaved wife and their two sons. Vijeta herself an actress of yesteryears has yet to come to terms with the reality and it is poignant.
