A dog was rescued by a fire crew after falling to the floor of a 200-foot deep mine shaft.

Getting stuck in a mine shaft can be a scary experience for anyone.

A dog was enjoying her time outside in the Roxborough, Colorado area with her owner when she fell to the floor of a 200-foot deep mine shaft.

A call for help was answered by crewmembers of the West Metro Fire Rescue.

Bringing Bailey back up to the surface required that they themselves travel down to the bottom of the pit.

Using a rope, the team lowered two people down.
