Representatives of Indian NGOs express their hopes and aspirations from results of the recent general election that saw opposition parties secure four states and retain one with a clear majority.

This is Arumugam Kalimuthu the co-chairman, Coalition of Malaysia Indian NGOs reiterating that communal political representation has not worked and that it is the NGOs that will work directly with state governments to settle issues affecting the community
