Watching a climbing competition as a spectator, it's easy to forget the immense amount of work and preparation that athletes put into readying themselves for this type of event. Routines are worked out down to the smallest detail and even the competitor's choice of climbing shoes is agonised over. In order to get a better understanding of the whole process of competing, not just the time on the wall, we followed EpicTV and La Sportiva athlete Adam Ondra behind the scenes at the 2015 lead climbing World Cup In Chamonix, France. Join us for the first of a two-part video series which aims to give you greater insight into the competition climbing routine of one of the world's greatest climbers; including analysis from his friends and fellow competitors Romain Desgranges and Jakob Schubert.
