In an expression of mounting frustration with the lack of results in the official investigation into the enforced disappearance of the 43 Ayotzinapa students, protests escalated in the southwestern Mexican state of Guerrero where the tragic events occurred. Family members of the missing students and their classmates occupied the offices of the State Attorney General and damaged and destroyed office equipment.
