NASA has developed an underwater probe it hopes to someday use for exploring alien oceans, like the massive ice-covered one on Jupiter’s moon Europa. 
For now, NASA is testing how the Buoyant Rover handles in the frigid, methane-heavy lakes around Barrow, Alaska.
