This is one of two poems from my book, "Kali Yantra Flower," that I set to music. The book is available on Amazon and Kindle. On the 200th Anniversary of the Spirit of '76 is the longest poem in the book. It's autobiographical and apocalyptic in style. I did not plan out the music for this recording. I simple began strumming chords and sing-speaking the poem (in German, "singspiel"). I believe I had a small audience of close friends present at the time.
