Chilean President Michelle Bachelet met with her counterpart Rafael Correa Friday on a visit to Quito. The two leaders signed eleven agreements in the areas of education, technology and security. Ecuador also thanked Chile for its assistance in strengthening the country’s judicial system. “I think this meeting marks a new step in integration and cooperation based on grand ideas and values, but applied to specific areas,” said Bachelet.
