Dramatic drone footage captured in the skies above the Port of Tianjin, China, shows the cleanup operation at the blast site where two explosions ripped through a warehouse on August 12, killing 160 people. The ignition of thousands of tonnes of hazardous chemicals stored at the site, including approximately 700 tonnes of highly poisonous sodium cyanide, were responsible for the fatal blasts.
According to reports, the area in Tianjin’s Binhai New region is set to be turned into a park once the cleanup is completed, with construction set to get underway in November.
