Army Chief General Raheel Sharif has directed authorities to promptly take measures for rescue of people. He ordered the authorities to sent army soldiers in affected areas for rescue works.Army troops have been directed to carry out immediate rescue work in any affected areas.

According to ISPR statement, they [army troops] have been asked not to wait for formal orders in this regard.
