Internal conflicts in Syria continue, forcing millions to leave their homes. The United Nations estimates that over 7.5 million people are internally displaced across the country. Some have made the dangerous journey across the Mediterranean to Europe, fleeing death and destruction often fomented by attacks from militants backed by Saudi Arabia and Quatar. Others have found their way to refugee centers, where the Syrian government does all it can to ensure their health and safety with the help of a few friendly countries.
