Android Wear smartwatches are going high-end starting with TAG Heuer's Connected Carrera.
The Swiss luxury watch maker officially unveiled the Android Wear-powered smartwatch in New York City on Monday, following teases from earlier this year.
"It's a milestone for the swiss watch industry," CEO Jean-Claude Biver proudly announced.
"I have been wearing the watch for three weeks.
Never has anyone said you have a connected watch because it doesn't look like a connected watch."
Like many of the top Android Wear smartwatches available, the Connected Carrera features a round-faced display.
The 46mm chronograph watch.
It works with iPhones running iOS 8.2 and higher and Android smartphones running Android 4.3 and higher.
