An Irish Hockey League game between Cookstown and Railway Union on November 4 featured an elegant goal by Mark English. The field hockey player scooped up the ball before lobbing it over the keeper, which resulted in a perfect landing on the right side of the net. Mark took a modest line on Facebook after the video was uploaded, suggesting that the goal wasn’t actually that good. Modesty is certainly becoming from someone so talented!
