A villager in China was saved by firefighters after he trapped his leg inside a small cultivator when he was working in a field.

In the video, filmed during the rescue in Jiangsu Province on Tuesday morning, the firemen can be seen cutting off the handlebars and the protecting board of the machine before sending the man to the hospital along with the shaft which had prodded into his left leg.

No further information has been gathered about the man's condition, according to local media.
