Komuniteti i biznesit hedh akuza te forta ndaj qeverise, e cila ne vend qe te luftoje korrupsionin e stimulon atë. Sipas tyre ka një mungese te theksuar konkurrence ne treg me tenderët publike.
Ne shume raste punët e qeverise jepen pa gare, ndërsa kompanitë qe fitojnë janë njerëz te lidhur me pushtetin. Ndaj biznesi bën thirrje për rishikim te ligjit te prokurimeve dhe një fryme te re qeverisëse. Meqenëse qeveria është e prirur te dëgjojë me shume përfaqësitë e huaja ne vend, sipërmarrjet ia kane parashtruar shqetësimet ambasadorit te prezencës se OSBE, Eugen Wollfarth. Ky i fundit ka vene theksin ne rritjen e transparencës, si dhe ne respektimin e shtetit ligjor. Pak kohe me pare edhe drejtorja e Ballkanit ne Bankën Botërore pohoi se Shqipëria mbetet vendi me i korruptuar ne rajon. Duke ju referuar pikërisht prokurimeve publike, ajo evidentoi se perceptimi i investitorëve për nivelin e korrupsionin ne Shqipëri mbetet ende i larte.
