Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp tried to play down expectations somewhat after an incredible 4-1 victory over Manchester City at the Etihad.

Klopp refused to say it was a “perfect” performance but admitted it was “very good”.

The Liverpool boss also hailed the “passion” that he saw from his side.

Somewhat amusingly, Klopp admitted after the 4-1 victory that Liverpool should have scored more.

And, said it was a “good day” both for the points tally of 20 and the “belief” of his players
