Është e vështire te gjesh shifra te besueshme ne Shqipëri; papunësia është një prej treguesve, për numrin e se cilës ka te paktën 3 variante, ne varësi te burimit te referimit.
Instat deklaron se papunësia ne vend, është rreth 140 mije vete, faqja e CIA-s raporton rreth 620 mije te papune ndërkohe qe opozita deklaron se rreth 1.2 milion shqiptare sot janë te papune. Ne këtë kakofoni shifrash sekretari për programin ne PS Ilir Beqja deklaron se shifra e publikuar nga opozita del nga raporti i bankës se Shqipërisë; por për demokratin Sybi Hida llogarite e PS janë te gabuara. Shifra prej 1 milionë te papunësh është prej kohesh një nga tezat kryesore te PS e cila akuzon qeverinë për politika te gabuara ekonomike; edhe pse nga ana tjetër kryeministri Berisha përsërit se modeli ekonomik shqiptar është një model suksesi.

Instat states that unemployment in the country, is about 140 thousand people, page CIA report about 620 thousand unemployed while the opposition claims that about 1.2 million Albanians are unemployed today. In this cacophony of figures for the program at PS Secretary Ilir Beqja states that figures published by the opposition comes from the report of the Bank of Albania, but the Democrat SYBI Hida SP accounts are wrong. The figure of 1 million unemployed has long been one of the main theses of the SP which accuses the government of wrong economic policies, even though the other hand Prime Minister Berisha Albanian reiterates that economic model is a model of success.
