Duke bere bilancin e dimrit te ashpër, kryeministri Berisha deklaroi se situata u përballua pa pasoja serioze ne njerëz dhe me dëme te pakta materiale. Shefi i ekzekutivit vlerësoi angazhimin e pushtetit vendor, pavarësisht përkatësisë politike, por ironizoi me paralajmërimet e opozitës për zgjerimin e katastrofës. Kryeministri Berisha ftoi gjithashtu pushtetin vendor te ofroje projekte për grantin e zhvillimit te rajoneve, duke shtyre afatin e aplikimit deri ne datën 2 prill. "Përgjegjësia nuk do te jete e qeverise qe nuk financon, por e pushtetit lokal qe nuk konkurron për fonde," tha kreu i mazhorances.
