A boy named Zahid got killed by police in fake encounter on Saturday by Sheikhupura police. Zahid, resident of Muridke area of Sheikhupura district, was arrested by police three days ago, reported Dunya News.

According to the family, Zahid had a property dispute with his uncle. Station House Officer (SHO) Saddar police station of Sheikhupura, Rana Azam arrested him three days ago and demanded 20 lac rupees as bribe. Zahid could not arrange the amount so Rana Azam took him to Khanqah Dogran and killed him in fake encounter. Family claims that his uncle is behind his killing with help of police.

Grief took hold of Zahid’s mother and sisters when his body arrived for autopsy. Their wailing over the loss of their future’s hope, was heart wrenching. The sisters beat and also threw shoes on Sub inspector Arif in desperation when he arrived on scene. Police spokesman told the media that Zahid died by the firing of his fellow dacoits in Khanqah Dogran.
