Lapidari qe nderon te rënët ne luftën për liri te ushtrisë çlirimtare te Preshevës, Medvegjes dhe Bujanovcit, nuk do te hiqet pavarësisht ultimatumeve te vendosura nga qeveria serbe. Ky është konkluzioni i kuvendit komunal te Preshevës gjate takimit te mbajtur ne këtë komune. Në mbledhjen e sotme pjesëmarrësit lexuan vendimin se përmendoret, lapidaret, muralet etj., që kanë qëllim përkujtimi, lejohen të përdoren në komunën e Preshevës bazuar ne ligjet e Serbisë. Sipas mediave lokale, ky takim i jashtëzakonshëm i ka paraprirë një mbledhje te liderëve të partive politike shqiptarë të luginës së Preshevës. Kryeministri Daçiç është zotuar për shembjen e saj, para 17 janarit, ditës kur zhvillohet raundi i katërt i bisedimeve të nivelit të lartë, Kosovë-Serbi. Ministria serbe e drejtësisë, njoftoi pas skadimit të afatit se do të nisë procedim penal ndaj kreut të komunës së Preshevës, Ragmi Mustafa dhe do të zhvendosë përmendoren.
