Autoriteti i Mbikëqyrjes Financiar e konsideron te nxituar ligjin për liberalizmin e tregut te sigurimeve, i cili gjate një viti te zbatimit te tij, ka sjelle luhatje te ndjeshme te çmimit për sigurimin e detyrueshëm te automjeteve. Duke raportuar ne Komisionin e Ekonomisë për aktivitetin e vitit 2012, ky institucion kërkon mbështetjen e parlamentit për vendosjen e një çmimi dysheme te detyrueshëm për tu aplikuar nga kompanitë.
Çmimi i sigurimit te një automjeti ka pësuar ndryshime te shpeshta, me tendence ulje dhe ngritjeje. Pas një hetimi te thelluar autoriteti i konkurrencës arriti ne konkluzionin se kompanitë kishin unifikuar çmimet. Por edhe pas gjobave situata është përsëritur serish. Te gjitha kompanitë ofrojnë te njëjtin çmim. Ulja ne minimumin e sigurimit te automjeteve përmban rrezik, pasi ul fuqinë paguese te dëmeve ne rast aksidenti.
