Simbol i qytetit juglindor, karnavalet kane ndezur atmosferën ditën e shtune ne Korçe. Mijëra qytetare jane bere pjese e ketij organizimi te bashkisë, ku pjesëmarrja dukshëm ka qene e larte, per shkak edhe te ardhjes ne kete feste te madhe te njerëzve nga qytete te tjera te vendit. Pjese e karnavaleve te Korçe jane bere edhe dy grupe te ardhura nga Maqedonia, si edhe një grup shqiptaresh nga Tuzi i Malit te Zi. Festa e karnavaleve ka zgjatur mbi tre ore, ne pedonalen e re te qytetit, ku nuk kane munguar as kureshtja e turisteve te huaj.
