Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned Turkey after the Turkish military shot down a Russian warplane on grounds of violating Turkish airspace. While the military officials said that they were forced to bring down the plane to protect its borders, Putin stated that the jets did not threaten Turkish territory in any way & that there will be consequences now.
