Supporters of Venezuela’s Socialist Party (PSUV) took to the streets in thousands just before the election campaigns come to a close tonight at midnight. The opposition parties gathered in another rally in eastern Caracas. Shouts of ¡Viva Chavez! were heard throughout the jubilant pro-government march through the center of Caracas. On Sunday Venezuelans will choose 167 members of the National Assembly in over 40,000 polling stations nationwide.
