The UFC has a target date and location in mind for the Holly Holm-Ronda Rousey rematch, USA TODAY Sports confirmed Thursday.
The respective Holm and Rousey camps both must agree on the date and that hasn't happened yet, a person with knowledge of the negotiations who is not authorized to speak publicly told USA TODAY Sports.
The Los Angeles Times , the first outlet to report that the rematch could occur this July, reported that Holm's manager, Lenny Fresquez, doesn't  feel the ninth-month layoff would be enough time for Rousey.
Holm expressed interest in fighting sooner and is ready to defend her belt against an opponent other than Rousey.
