TREASURE ISLAND, FIJI — The Civil Aviation Authority of Fiji is investigating a helicopter crash that occurred on Wednesday, on Treasure Island. A video shot by a Chinese tourist named Yang Yang, who was also staying on Treasure Island, shows a Eurocopter crashing into a tree.
The helicopter pilot warned the six passengers, including adults and children from New Zealand and Australia, that strong gusts of wind could make the landing bumpy. That was an understatement.

The helicopter came to rest, in pieces, next to the resort pool. Miraculously, Yang Yang and all seven adults and children aboard the helicopter escaped without serious injuries. Australian media report the tourists continued their vacation uninterrupted.
