Learn how to make eggless Naan without tandoor and oven from our chef Archana on Ruchkar Mejwani. Naan is a popular Indian flat bread that goes very well with gravy vegetable and chicken.
Ingredients:
200 gms All Purpose Flour
3 tbsp Curd
5-6 tbsp Milk
1 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
Butter for garnishing
Method:
- In a large mixing bowl add all purpose flour. Make a well into the flour and add curd, sugar, salt, baking powder, milk & oil.
- Let the mixture rise.
- Mix everything well and make a soft dough.
- Keep this dough aside for 6 hours to rise.
- Take small portions of the dough and start rolling.
- Apply some oil and flour and fold it to give a triangle shape.
- Place the naan on hot pan and press the edges of the naan and on high flame flip it over.
- Cook it on both sides till you get brown spots and the naan is ready to be served after applying butter on it.
