Hala means plough and asana means pose so Halasana means The Plough Pose.
Technique :
Lie flat on your back and keep the body straight.
Close the heels together and bring the toes closer.
Putting the palms on the ground bring them closer on either side.
Now stretch the toes and inhale raising the head upwards until all of them are in a vertical position.
Breathe out and lower the legs and bring them towards the head at the same time trying to touch the floor in front of the toes and the head.
