A strong cold snap brought rare snowfall to Yangmingshan on the outskirts of Taipei Saturday evening, the Central Weather Bureau said that day.
The snow began to fall at the Anbu Weather Station at 6:01 p.m., but it was not long before it turned to a mix of rain and snow, the bureau said.
