Skipping meals seems like the right thing for people who are trying to lose some weight. After all if you eat less you may gain less weight. But skipping meals to lose weight does more harm to your body than good. It doesn’t pose a problem when done a few times, but when it becomes a habit or a part of your weight loss strategy, it can have long-term side effects on the body and could even lead to the development of some chronic diseases. Moreover, skipping meals will not give you a healthy looking body, but it will only make it harder for you to lose that extra weight.
