Howrah (Wb), Jan 25 (ANI): Chandra Bose, grand nephew of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the presence of party president Amit Shah during a public rally at Howrah on Monday. Bose is likely to be a prominent face in BJP's campaign for the poll-bound state. He will extend his contribution in changing BJP's fortunes in the TMC-ruled state. Addressing the public rally in Howrah, Shah took a jibe at West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee by saying that when her government came into power she promised to work for the betterment of West Bengal, but nothing can be witnessed. He added that there is no sign of improvement in West Bengal and it is a very serious issue.
