A Scottish man vacationing in Thailand was in the midst of an elephant ride when the animal acted out, ultimately goring and trampling the tourist to death.

A Scottish man vacationing in Thailand was in the midst of an elephant ride when the animal acted out, ultimately goring and trampling the tourist to death. 
On Monday, Gareth Crowe and his teenage daughter were taking a ride on the elephant’s back when the animal’s handler attempted to take a photo of them. 
The elephant, believed to have been stressed, first attacked the person snapping the picture and then threw Crowe and the girl to the ground. 
Though the daughter escaped, Crowe sustained fatal injuries.
