When it comes to making your smile look better, there are a number of different options. At the Cosmetic Dentists of Houston, located in the Galleria area, we pride ourselves in giving our patients the most beautiful smiles in Houston.

We provide our dental patients with teeth whitening, inlays and onlays, dental crowns and dental implants. We also offer dental bonded veneers and porcelain veneers.

Many of our patients wonder which are better and more natural looking out of these two. Quite honestly, they are both very good options; however, it depends on who is doing the work. Dental bonded veneers and porcelain veneers both require an artist to perform and create these smile enhancement products.

“There have been some unbelievably beautiful and natural direct bonded veneers, but it does take some serious artistic skills,” Dr. Amanda Canto says. “So these easier answer to that would be that well done porcelain veneers are the more natural and beautiful alternative.”

Dr. Canto added that even the outcome of the porcelain veneers depends on the skills of the ceramist or the laboratory. She says that one of the reasons why a lot of people walk around with fake-looking teeth is because the ceramist or the laboratory chosen to perform the cosmetic dental work are not up to the standards required by the Cosmetic Dentists of Houston.

Are you wondering which would work best for you: direct bonded veneers or porcelain veneers? If so, feel free to contact our dental office and schedule your dental appointment.
