Star director VV Vinayak was to start Megastar Chiranjeevi's 150th film last year. Nonetheless, when Chiru is delaying the project and Nagarjuna offered him to direct his son Akkineni Akhil's launch pad film Akhil for which Veligonda Srinivas provided the story, the director with approval from megastar had taken up the Nithin's production venture.
