Footage of 3000 people ringing the bell at a Buddhist Temple in China on the first day of Chinese New Year.

The video, captured in Huaian, Jiangsu Province on Monday, shows a large number of people lighting incense in front of the Mahavira Hall at Ciyun Temple. Meanwhile, inside the temple, people are waiting in a queue to ring the bell.

At Chinese New Year, people often ring the bells in temples to ask for the coming 12 months to be blessed.
