$1 million Nashville home destroyed by exploding hoverboard

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE — Nashville resident Brian Fox and his family are spreading the gospel about the potential dangers of hoverboards after their home was destroyed in a fire caused by one of the popular toys.

The incident occurred back on Jan. 9 when two of Fox's kids were upstairs. The FiTurbo F1 hoverboard was downstairs.

The FiTurbo burst reportedly burst into flames and the terrified were kids hid upstairs. The fad toy of 2015 exploded, causing a fire to begin downstairs.

Fox's teenage daughter escaped the inferno by kicking out her bathroom window and jumping into her father's arms. While his son was rescued after he smashed a second floor window and pulled him out.

No one was killed, but Fox, his wife and four kids are now without a home.
