Dan heads west to New Mexico to hunt elk with Jared Taylor at Red Top Mountain Outfitters. After having been on three other elk hunts and never having any success, Dan had just about given up on elk hunting. After only a couple of days, Dan has already seen more bull elk than he has on all his previous elk hunts, and when they spot a nice bull in a small herd, the chase begins, and Dan finally puts an end to his dry spell.
