On Wednesday, a family dog was rescued from inside their burning home in California.
Helmet cam footage released by the Sacramento Fire Department shows firefighters attempting to make their way through and around the house.
One firefighter can be seen using a specialized tool to puncture a hole in the roof so as to let smoke and hot gases escape.
Two firefighters enter the home to search for victims. This is when the dog is found, hiding, in one of the bedrooms.
