An amusing video has emerged from the US of a woman covering Adele's Hello, replacing the original lyrics with her own, because she thinks the tickets to Adele concerts are expensive.

The footage, filmed last month in Charlottesville, Virginia, shows the woman singing the famous Adele song, beginning with her own lyrics: "Hello, it's me, I was wondering if you could send me two tickets for free."

The filmer later wrote online: "A friend and I were talking about the prices to Adele's concert and we came up with this idea!

We had no idea if would go viral, but it did."

"I pray Adele sees this video and I hopefully get a response from her," she continued.
