New Delhi, Feb 16 (ANI): The Delhi High Court on Tuesday rejected a plea seeking a National Investigation Agency (NIA) probe into the alleged anti-national activities on the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) campus. Terming it as "premature", the court exuded confidence that the Delhi Police can investigate the incident. The HC on Monday had agreed to hear the plea filed by a Delhi lawyer. Lawyer Anil Soni said what provoked the incident and who all were involved in it is still unknown and the Delhi police is investigating it. He added that the Centre will give suo moto to NIA if needed. He further added that it was a premature period that is why it is dismissed.
