A video has emerged of flooding in Sao Paulo, Brazil on Monday afternoon.

The footage, captured from a balcony by a Sao Paulo resident, shows a vehicle struggling to navigate through deep flood waters in Vila Olímpia quarter.

According to local media, torrential rain and flooding caused the closure of trains stations and the airport of Congonhas in the south of the capital city.
