A dramatic video has emerged of a car driver spitting out of the window causing leading collision on a motorway in China.

The dash cam footage, captured in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province last Saturday, shows a Buick car hitting a fence, before spinning around and hitting the car behind.

According to local reports, the driver of Buick car opened the window to spit, which distracted him enough to cause the accident.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
