Haryana Govt. agrees to give reservation to Jats

New Delhi, Feb 21 (ANI): Union Minister for State for Agriculture Sanjiv Baliyan on Sunday told the media that reservation to the Jat community would be given in the upcoming assembly session. In the wake of the escalating pro-reservation protests by the Jat community spreading across Haryana, the Home Minister on Sunday chaired a high-level emergency meeting to discuss the further course of action. Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, Union Minister Sanjeev Baliyan, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Army Chief General Dalbir Singh and Delhi Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi were among those present at the meeting held at Rajanth's residence.
