This job was a long shot for Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers’ Ross McGibbon, who received a callout at the weekend in Toowoomba to remove a two-metre eastern brown snake from a shed. The snake is dangerously venomous and native to Australia’s east coast.
McGibbon said: “The snake took shelter in an old set of (drawers) after being disturbed. The owner did rather well to keep calm and shut the door behind him before calling a snake catcher. It’s so good to see snakes making it to this size and in such good condition. Wow, what an impressive animal, I had a grin on my face all day after that catch!” Credit: Facebook/Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7
