UPDATE - the latest word is that the issue that rose to cause such controversy has to do with the Gawker Sextape lawsuit - where legal representation from Gawker has claimed to have footage of Hogan making several racist slurs while talking to Heather Clem, then-wife of Bubba the Love Sponge. It seems a little clearer as to why Hogan has fought so hard to keep this tape private.
