Two volunteer firefighters in Fredericksburg, Virginia got a girl having a seizure to the hospital, but their possibly life-saving action resulted in a suspension.
Firefighters often have to make quick decisions in very stressful situations.
Two men with the Falmouth Volunteer Fire Department in Fredericksburg, Virginia did just that, but their possibly life-saving actions resulted in a suspension, reports WTTG. On February 27, Captain James Kelley and Sgt. Virgil Bloom answered a call about an 18-month-old girl having a seizure.
When the duo arrived at the scene, an area McDonald’s, they determined the girl was in need of immediate medical care.
